Li Ming, a modern office worker whose parents live a decadent life after divorce, accidentally triggers time travel through an old watch and returns to the summer of 2003 when his parents first met. He vows to break up Lin Xiaoyun (his mother), a rebellious college student, and Li Jianguo (his father), a socially awkward programmer. However, during his "CP-breaking plan", he witnesses moments like his father waiting three hours to buy a concert ticket for his mother, and his mother secretly mending his father's holey sweater. As Li Ming gradually understands the true love between his parents back then, his body starts to become transparent— a time-space warning: changing the past will erase his existence. Should he save his parents' love or his own future? He faces an impossible choice.
