Deep in a narrow alley lies a little-known trusted shop. Its owner, A Ming, runs his small business with delicious dishes in the mist of fireworks. Though ordinary in appearance, he hides a past no one wants to mention. Every day he receives various guests: frustrated white-collars, heartbroken students, elderly people at their wits' end... He heals people with bowls of hot rice, and gets involved in a mystery of a decade-old case. Under the plain shop lies undercurrents—every dish hides a secret, and every wisp of steam wraps the warmth of people's hearts.
