Su Xiao, an intern screenwriter, flirts with Gu Jingshen, the rumored 'cold and ruthless' CEO, to perfect her villain character. She plans to leave after 'gaining experience,' but finds Gu is not only the prototype of her villain but also has seen through her tricks—from gifting her a pen engraved with script lines to 'coincidentally' meeting her when she tries to avoid him, Gu's 'counter-flirting' makes Su Xiao fall step by step. What's more, Gu has a secret he's hidden for three years: he's been investigating the disappearance of Su's father, and Su's 'flirting' is exactly the 'opportunity' he's waited for... When the 'plotter' becomes the 'plotted,' Su Xiao realizes she's long been trapped in Gu Jingshen's 'villainous game'—and she can't escape.
