Lin Xiao, the "Tiger of Dragon City" who has been in hiding for three years, returns quietly to the turbulent Dragon City to fulfill his late comrade-in-arms' last wish: to protect his sister Su Xiao. But as soon as he shows up, he finds Su Xiao being forced into a marriage by a wealthy family and hunted by underworld forces. Hiding his sharpness, he pretends to be a "down-and-out bodyguard" by her side—taking bullets, foiling plots—only to be mocked by Su Xiao as a "useless burden". Meanwhile, the enemy who framed him and killed his comrade is watching Su Xiao, setting a trap to lure him out. When Su Xiao is tied up in the enemy's basement and a gun is pressed to her temple, Lin Xiao finally tears off the "loser" disguise—The Tiger of Dragon City never loses. The person he wants to protect? Even the Palace of Hell can't take her away!
