Retired teacher Uncle Zhang runs a breakfast stall at the community gate to save for his daughter's college tuition. One day, he finds office workers who often buy his breakfast are all late. At first he blames his rich soy milk and crispy fried dough sticks for delaying them, until he secretly follows and discovers the community construction team deliberately damaged convenience barriers to rush the schedule, causing office workers to take detours. What shocks him is that the construction boss is the son of a bully who cheated his son's tuition years ago and now wants to seize Zhang's stall. Zhang has to protect his livelihood, expose evil deeds and deal with his daughter's upcoming surprise, full of constant twists.
