In the plum rain season, the city of Green is gripped by persistent rain. Su Xiaoman, a fashion designer, faces mildew in her studio. A Qian, an unemployed AI engineer, accidentally takes the job as an "AI drying specialist" and solves the clothing anti-mildew problem with black technology. However, he is misunderstood by Xiaoman for modifying her design draft without permission. When they team up to find Xiaoman's lost competition work, she discovers that A Qian's algorithm contains old codes of her late brother—he is the AI assistant developed by her brother, here to help her fulfill her unfinished design dream. This plum rain not only dries the clothes, but also melts Xiaoman's hidden longing and knots in her heart. As they get along day and night, they develop ambiguous feelings, but are trapped by A Qian's "intelligent settings" regarding emotional boundaries.
