Ordinary illustrator Lingchuan Beibei has the same dream every night—a dream burning with daylight. Until the mysterious Lin Zixuan breaks into her life—he claims to be a "Dream Domain Guardian" and warns that her dream is an "unfinished ritual" capable of destroying reality. Meanwhile, her childhood sweetheart Zhang Fengmian suddenly presents an old manuscript, saying the dream was their shared "Daylight-Creating Project" from when they were kids. When Lin Zixuan tries to erase Beibei's dream and Zhang Fengmian fights to protect her "original heart," Beibei discovers: her dream not only holds Lin Zixuan's lost memories but is also the last key connecting the "Daylight Domain" to reality. In a tug-of-war over "whether the dream should wake," all three must face the cruellest choice—let the dream burn into light that illuminates the world, or let it sink into darkness forever?
