Scheming CEO Qi Shenghan targets Chu Qianyue for revenge—she’s the adopted daughter of his enemy, yet pure as an angel untouched by dust, painting starry skies on the walls of a welfare home. He infiltrates her life as a "sponsor," laying a trap of tenderness, but gradually loses his resolve to manipulate when he sees her sheltering stray cats from rain and staying up until midnight baking cakes for orphans. Just as his revenge plan is about to unfold, Chu hands him an old photo: it’s a young him, once fed candy by a little girl at the welfare home—turns out she recognized him long ago, and her "purity" was a redemption specially reserved for him. Now he realizes: he’s the "devil" captured by the "angel," and this "trap" has always been a mutual journey toward each other.
