In the post-apocalyptic future, humans fight alien insects with AI-controlled mechs. Lin Mo, a top pilot who died in battle, binds with his own AI remnant and returns to the battlefield as a "half-human, half-machine" being. He has to fend off repeated attacks from insects and rogue mechs, track down the culprit of the apocalypse, only to find all clues point to a tampered AI system, and even his rebirth hides a huge conspiracy.
