After surviving the doomsday catastrophe in the first season, Lin Che, armed with his awakened god-runed supernatural ability, thought he could protect the survivor zone. However, a new mutation emerges: mysterious black runes spread across the globe, turning survivors into mutated monsters. Betrayal from former allies and ancient secrets behind the runes drag him into a bigger conspiracy. In this season, Lin Che will lead his remaining team through the dangerous wasteland, uncover the link between the runes and the origin of doomsday, fight against a mysterious organization that aims to rule the world with the runes, and strive to find hope for humanity's survival in desperate situations.
