Lin Xiulian, a master of Su Embroidery, runs an old embroidery workshop alone while caring for her husband with dementia. She falls into a cold war with her granddaughter Lin Xiao, who is stuck in a career slump, due to conflicting views on heritage. Until Xiulian shows embroidery sketches recording family stories, Xiao finally understands her grandma's persistence of mending years with stitches.
