Li Shengxuan, the Saintess of the Miao Kingdom, is seen as a threat by the imperial court for controlling the "Soul-Eating Curse". Shi Wei, a secret guard, is ordered to bind her with his exclusive "Love Thread Curse"—but Li Shengxuan, the top master of curses, sees through his scheme and turns the curse back on Shi Wei, forcing him to kiss her every morning to break it. Entangled by the "curse pact", Shi Wei gradually discovers: Li Shengxuan's "Soul-Eating Curse" seals the murderer who wiped out her clan, and his father was an accomplice; Li Shengxuan also finds out: Shi Wei's family was killed by a fake saintess. When the blade of revenge points at each other and the curse quietly turns into love threads, can they tear off the veil of the behind-the-scenes mastermind in the Miao fog and redeem each other's regret-stained souls?
