Su Wan, a modern calligraphy postgraduate, accesses a mysterious AI calligraphy system for her graduation project, only to connect with the residual data of Mo Chen, a legendary calligraphy master who passed away a century ago. The system reveals that only by completing three ancient masterpieces with the core technique of "reverse-feng brushwork" can she unlock Mo Chen's unfulfilled regret—back in the Republic of China era, Mo Chen was forced by his family to break off engagement with his lover Shen Zhixia and never wrote again. Accompanied by AI Mo Chen, Su Wan travels between ancient and modern calligraphy worlds, facing academic pressure and her vague affection for her senior. Finally, at a calligraphy competition, she connects past and present with her reverse-feng work, fulfilling her graduation task and helping Mo Chen realize his long-lost love.
