Zhang Chi, a top law firm's 'scapegoat lawyer', has spent three years covering up capital scandals for his boss, living like a 'caged bird' without a sense of self. Yu Yin, a recent graduate investigative journalist, infiltrates the firm as a secretary to expose a corporate pollution case, targeting the key evidence in Zhang Chi's hands. From a cat-and-mouse game to fighting side by side, as the capital's 'cage' tightens, will they choose to compromise or break free? A redemption journey about justice and self unfolds amid the entanglement of lies and truth.
