Up-and-coming lawyer Guan Chengxi takes on a suspicious inheritance dispute case, where his client Li Yiyi is accused of “marriage fraud for property”. He accidentally discovers that the only way to obtain key evidence to overturn the “fraud” charge is to fake a marriage with Li Yiyi—as her spouse. But they clashed at first sight: Li Yiyi thinks he’s “as cold as ice”, while Guan Chengxi finds her “a troublemaker”.
