Gu Nan (played by Feng Zizhou), a returning aerospace designer, returns to a coastal town to advance an offshore wind power project, only to clash head-on with Su Xiaoman (played by Lu Xiangshan), an intern clinging to her grandmother’s old weather station—what he sees as a “dated structure to demolish” is her “spiritual anchor” loaded with childhood memories and family ties. From bickering to repairing the station’s old chronograph together, they stumble upon grandma’s diary, which uncovers the youthful past of Gu Nan’s mother in the town thirty years ago. When a typhoon strikes, they stand side by side to keep the station running and issue warnings, and in the storm, they realize: their “conflict” is just two people guarding the most precious “azure sky” in their hearts in different ways. How will this mutual puzzle of “protection” write the end of the summer?
