Lin Wan, a top professional elite, falls from grace overnight—her best friend steals the project she spent half a year on, her boyfriend cheats with her sister, and even her terminally ill mother cuts off contact due to a misunderstanding. When she stands desperately on the rooftop edge, Gu Zhao, the down-and-out entrepreneur she gave hot porridge to on a rainy night, appears as the CEO of a multinational group. He approaches with a “revenge” facade, yet hands her hot cocoa when she breaks down, shields her from bullies, and secretly buys her designs. Lin Wan thinks he’s an enemy here to settle scores, until she finds the porridge box receipts he’s saved for three years in his drawer. She finally realizes: the whole world wants to push her into the abyss, but he’s saved up three years of courage—to guide her back to the light.
