Hua Guoguo, an orphan haunted by a mysterious "dog curse", transforms into a stray puppy every midnight and must return to her room before 3 AM to revert to human form. An accident leads her to be picked up by Fan Gaopo, a cold-faced vet at a pet hospital, exposing her secret of turning into a dog. Fan approaches Hua to solve the mystery of his grandfather's "dog curse notes". From mutual suspicion to working together to find the curse's origin—they discover that twenty years ago, Hua's mother saved Fan's grandfather but was cursed due to a misunderstanding. When the key to breaking the curse points to "a kiss from a true love", Hua finds out Fan's initial motive for approaching her wasn't pure... Is this curse-induced love redemption or a trap?
