Lin Xiao, the youngest divine doctor of the hermit medical sect, is ordered by his master to go down the mountain to “temper his heart in the mortal world”, but is stuck with his傲娇 (proud and tsundere) senior sister Su Wantang who claims to “supervise” him—she acts like a strict senior sister on the surface, but actually hides a crush that has lasted for years. Lin Xiao uses Guigu medical skills to resolve wealthy family grudges and cure incurable diseases, attracting numerous suitors, but Su Wantang always “happens” to appear: snatching the medicinal meal from his hand and saying “I’ll feed him”, or blocking the approaching young lady behind her with a smile and saying “My junior brother is shy”. Until Lin Xiao gets involved in a conspiracy against the medical sect, Su Wantang takes a fatal blow for him, and the two finally tear off the disguise of “senior sister and junior brother” and face their feelings for each other.
