Li Yaya inherits her grandma's seaside guesthouse "Qingchuan Ju", but her first day as owner brings a crisis—real estate developer Liu Haoyuan shows up with a purchase contract, determined to demolish the guesthouse for a resort. Yaya stubbornly refuses to sign, yet discovers the cold businessman has secretly fixed her grandma's old phonograph and harbors a deep obsession with the old locust tree behind the guesthouse. It turns out Haoyuan's mother once worked here as a maid, left due to a misunderstanding, and never returned until her death. Yaya decides to help him mend his mother's regret, while Haoyuan is gradually softened by Yaya's tenacity and warmth. Together, they fight against corporate pressure, safeguard the "sunshine" of the guesthouse in midsummer, and find their own lost love.
