Old Zhou, the chef of "Yanhuo Noodle Shop" at the alley entrance, regards the old soup stock passed down by his mother as the core of his life and will never allow any changes. His only son, Xiaoyu, insists on transforming the noodle shop into an AI smart store, claiming to catch the trend and make a fortune, leading to a fierce conflict between father and son. Xiaoyu accidentally finds his mother's old diary, and learns that his parents used the "clumsiness" of manual soup boiling to hide their care and tenderness for neighbors. In the end, the father and son resolve their estrangement, retain the old taste with AI technology, making the fragrance of a bowl of noodles spread out of the alley and warm more people's hearts.
