Xu Ruotong, a PR manager wrapped in a "defensive shell," uses coldness to isolate herself from warmth due to childhood abandonment by her family. Zhang Jiachuan, a genius photographer hiding behind his lens, has closed his heart since an accident three years ago and only shoots "soulless landscapes." Forced to collaborate on a brand project, they despise each other—she finds him "unsociable," he thinks her "fake." But in their clashes, they break through each other’s masks: she helps him retrieve the sealed photos of his late mother, he accompanies her to face the truth of being "abandoned" by her parents. Just when they think they’ve healed each other, the "culprit" of Zhang Jiachuan’s accident is revealed to be linked to Ruotong’s father… Is mutual redemption the light they bring each other, or a hurdle they must cross together?
