Gu Zhao, the God of War of Northern Yan (played by Guo Haojun), disguises himself to sneak into Southern Liang in search of his fiancée Su Wan (played by Tian Yuqing), missing for three years. To his shock, Su Wan has become the Crown Prince’s concubine—the girl who once vowed “to love only him” in his arms now smiles as she pins a flower in the Prince’s hair, not even remembering his name. Gu Zhao approaches her as a “merchant” while investigating: Was she kidnapped and framed? Or did she lose her memory voluntarily to escape? Worse still, the Prince’s “affection” hides a plot to use her bloodline to restore his country, and the “man in blood-stained clothes” in Su Wan’s dreams is linked to Gu Zhao’s archenemy. When memory fragments turn into a knife and old love intertwines with conspiracy, can they find the original each other in the fog of power?
