Shi Yueyue, a socially anxious convenience store clerk, works two jobs to save for her seriously ill sister. One rainy night, she meets Qiao Jiale, a soaked architect—the “moonlight” she secretly wrote love letters to for three years in high school but never dared to give. Yet Qiao doesn’t recognize her; he even calls her “money-crazy” over an order misunderstanding. Until Shi feeds a stray cat, Qiao grabs her wrist with red eyes: “That’s my high school cat—I’ve looked for it seven years.” A ten-year secret unfolds: Qiao’s love letter was thrown into the trash by a classmate, making him think she hated it. He returned to China not for work, but to find the “short girl” who always hid in the corridor corner. When the self-abased part-timer meets the obsessed “moonlight”, how will their mutually missed crush become a mutual “little luck”?
