Lin Xiao, who turned down a high-paying city job, returns to her coastal village with mudflats polluted by over-intensive aquaculture, determined to protect the sea via eco-friendly farming. Facing villagers' doubt that “marine protection means lost income” and threats from a speculative developer eyeing the mudflats for illegal resources, she convinces villagers to adopt circular eco-farming with her expertise. This restores the ecosystem and doubles villagers' income, and she finally builds an “Ecological Treasure Bay”, achieving a perfect balance between marine conservation and wealth while growing attached to her hometown.
