I'm Lin Wan, the youngest top restorer at the museum. My mother, a former restorer, was wrongfully blamed for an intern's mistake years ago—she was driven out of the industry and died with regret, so I have zero tolerance for favoritism. Xiao Tang, the curator's niece and the museum's beloved intern, touched a Song Dynasty painting—my mother's last restoration work—out of curiosity and accidentally tore its corner. Everyone begs me to fix it, but I refuse firmly—I want her to learn responsibility instead of hiding behind her "beloved" status. Xiao Tang thinks I'm targeting her and pesters me every day, only to discover the pain beneath my coldness. When she finally admits her mistake publicly, the curator reveals a secret: he was the intern from years ago, and he's been waiting to make amends for my mother's regret.
