Lin Xiaoman, a 21st-century office worker, finds a mysterious celadon vase. When she touches it, she's transported to a famine-stricken chaotic world where refugees fight fiercely for a handful of coarse flour. She saves a starving child with her emergency snacks, only to discover the vase connects two time-spaces: the abundant modern era and the hopeless chaos. To help people in the chaos and uncover the vase's secret, Xiaoman starts traveling between the two worlds. However, a tiny item she brings back from modern times disrupts the fated trajectories of both worlds, leaving her own fate hanging in the balance.
