After successfully finishing the task of teaching an alien to farm, small-town youth Lin Xiaoxing faces a new challenge in Season 2. The "Dream-Making AI", supposed to help his alien friend A’Li optimize Earth crop data, goes haywire: it secretly tampers with A’Li’s memories of Earth’s farming, altering them into false settings that "aliens live on a high-yield planet".
