Lin Xiaochuan (played by Xian Jiachen), a young village doctor in Taoyuan Village, saved the entire village with his "Guimen Thirteen Acupuncture Needles" but was labeled a "sorcerer" by villagers for his "unorthodox" technique. Su Xiao (played by Wang Yaqi), a city female reporter, arrived to expose "rural superstition" but witnessed Lin pulling a dying old man back from the brink with the thirteen needles. To her astonishment, Su found Lin's acupuncture manual exactly matched the "lost TCM masterpiece" her missing grandfather had been researching! As misunderstandings turn to trust, they team up to trace the manual's origin, only to be drawn into a conspiracy to steal the "Thirteen Needles"—how will Lin protect the village with his medical skills, and how will he confess his long-hidden secret to Su?
