Lu Chuan, a barbecue stall owner, is mistaken for a "retired gang boss" online due to his naturally fierce appearance and accidentally saving Su Xiao, an intern lawyer who was harassed. Su Xiao offers to clear his name to repay the favor, but only makes things worse—former "brothers" come to recognize him as their boss, neighboring stall owners beg for protection, and even enemies show up to seek revenge.
