Liu Ang is a down-and-out repairman mocked by peers as a “clumsy screw-turner” — until one day, he suddenly can hear appliances talk. With this “superpower,” he becomes the “appliance神医 (magic doctor)” in the neighborhood — but then he meets the mysterious client Sanshiwen. Her old oven repeats “wait for him to come back” every day, and inside it lies a first love secret Sanshiwen has buried for ten years. Just as Liu Ang tries to help the oven fulfill its wish, he discovers his “superpower” is disappearing……
