Han Fenger, a cultural relic restorer, accidentally receives an ancient painting signed "Luo Maiyi". Late at night while restoring it, she is stunned to see a man in red from the painting break through the canvas—it is Luo Maiyi himself, a painter who died wrongfully a thousand years ago. His soul has been trapped in the painting due to unresolved obsession, and the only person who can help him reincarnate is Han Fenger, the "enemy" who pushed him into the fire in a past life. Meanwhile, Li Mingxu, Fenger's childhood friend who has always protected her, discovers that Luo Maiyi's presence is making Fenger gradually forget her present memories. Between the unextinguished love-hate entanglement of the past and the warm companionship of the present, Han Fenger must unravel the painting's secret within seven days: should she help her "enemy" let go of his obsession, or hold onto the deep affection in front of her?
