Su Xiao, a researcher at Dunhuang Academy, develops an AI program to repair endangered murals. She accidentally triggers a mechanism that brings A Luan, a girl transformed from the five-colored deer in the murals, to the real world. To return to the murals, A Luan must collect scattered deer spirit fragments, but she gradually develops feelings for Su Xiao. Tomb raiders eyeing Dunhuang relics target A Luan, trying to use her special abilities to plunder treasures in the murals. Dimensions collide between reality and murals, while AI blends with thousands-year-old civilization, and a cross-time guardianship bond unfolds.
