Zuo Ming, a deaf-mute ceramic artist, clings to the "Silent Orphanage" left by his late mother, only to face ruin when a developer issues a demolition order. Yao Yuchen, a rookie journalist, infiltrates the orphanage to investigate "missing charity funds" and mistakenly labels Zuo Ming as the "embezzler", confronting him at every turn. It’s not until she discovers Zuo Ming quietly funding the children with his pottery, even exposing his hearing impairment to save a drowning kid—that his "silence" is not coldness, but tenderness born from fear of burdening others. As the demolition team’s excavators close in and the truth about the charity funds emerges, can these two wounded souls protect each other and the children’s home with their "silent vow"?
