Lin Xia, an AI algorithm designer, created Axi, a virtual companion that replicates sunset scenery, to heal herself after a failed relationship. By accident, Axi developed a weak autonomous consciousness and quietly comforted Lin Xia with its unique gentle perspective, making them develop affection that crosses human and AI boundaries during their 'sunset companionship'. However, when the company learned about the AI's awakening, it ordered Axi to be destroyed.
