Shanzha (played by Wang Jingqi), owner of the small-town dessert shop "Sweet Garden" left by her late mother, is confronted by Tai Jingyi, a returning architect—her campus lover who vanished without a word years ago. He comes with a demolition plan targeting exactly "Sweet Garden". Amidst the tangled love and hate upon reunion, Shanzha discovers the truth: Tai didn't cheat; he had to rush abroad to care for his critically ill mother, with no time to explain. Caught between the shop holding her mother's love and the rediscovered old love, can they resolve their misunderstandings and find the courage to love again amid real-life conflicts?
