Village boy Lin Yang accidentally awakens his ancestral divine doctor legacy and gains a spirit spring that can resurrect the dead. He cures the critically ill old village secretary with his skills, intending to protect the village quietly—but the spring attracts greedy urban developers who want to demolish the village to mine it. Meanwhile, urban female doctor Su Qing arrives to “investigate folk pseudo-medicine.” She calls Lin Yang a “charlatan” when she first sees him using “grass juice + spirit spring” to treat patients, but her perception shatters after witnessing the spring save a dying left-behind child. From hostility to teamwork, they use the spring to heal villagers injured by developers and gather evidence of their crimes. But the developer threatens: “Hand over the spring, or the whole village gets out!” Can Lin Yang protect his hometown with his医术 and the spring? Can Su Qing let go of her prejudice and write a healing love story with him in the countryside?
