Lin Xiaoman (played by Huang Haowen), an office drone trapped in the 996 cycle, finds her only comfort in slacking off to follow her favorite dramas. Gu Chuan (played by Sun Yiran), a tech tycoon who lives life like a precise algorithm, accidentally binds his "time" with Lin's during an experiment—every minute she slacks off becomes his forced overtime, and every social event he dodges automatically lands on her to-do list. From mutual bickering to forced cooperation, in the tug-of-war over "time", they discover they're both searching for the same thing: the courage to slow down and live well in the fast-paced "new modern era". When a "slacker" meets a "workaholic", can they unlock the "right answer" to life together?
