Wei Yike, a cold and elegant pavilion master, guards a mysterious attic filled with "cursed relics"—each item entangled in unresolved karma. Pei Hengna, a passionate detective, tracks a series of "curse-related deaths" to the pavilion, convinced the relics are the murderers and vowing to destroy them. But Wei Yike stubbornly clings to the rule: "Never interfere with karma." Their rivalry evolves into an unwilling partnership as they unravel each relic's human story. Meanwhile, Wang Canbei, a tech-savvy pavilion member, discovers relics are disappearing, and Zhou Zhao, a mysterious figure, is secretly collecting them—plotting a "karma tsunami" that could plunge the city into chaos. As each episode reveals the grudges behind a cursed relic, Wei Yike's long-hidden secret emerges: she once watched her closest person die from a relic's curse because she followed the rules. Can Pei Hengna's persistence break her obsession? And what desperate situation will Zhou Zhao's conspiracy push everyone into?
