Liu Ying, an ordinary office worker, stumbles into a vintage store late at night and is bitten by a necklace with a bloodstained bite mark. The next second, Zhang Yuntao, a wealthy consortium heir, appears with the exact same mark, coldy stating: "This is the Zhang family's 'Destiny Covenant'—those linked by the bite must共生 (live in symbiosis), or share the same pain." Forced to move into his mansion, Liu Ying deals with Zhang Yuntao's sarcasm while discovering his secret: every full moon, he suffers from a high fever that only her touch can ease. Just as they go from mutual dislike to hidden affection, an "old acquaintance" who cursed the necklace years ago shows up, determined to break this "wrong covenant." Will they yield to fate's chains, or dare to gamble on the courage to say "I choose you"?
