Lin Xiaoman, a single female designer, has recently been haunted by a "midnight curse"—for a week, she’s received unclaimed takeaways at midnight, and the creak of the doorknob turning feels like a ghost clinging to her door. Until that rainy night, a knock shattered the silence. The person outside claimed to be a property manager, but the voice sounded exactly like Chen Mo, her ex-boyfriend who vanished three years ago. Even more shocking: the new neighbor across the hall is Chen Mo, and the takeaway note—"Remember to drink hot porridge"—was his old catchphrase. At the same time, rumors of a "ghost visitor" spread in the community; someone spotted a man in a dark green suit wandering around—the exact特征 of the murderer in the homicide Lin Xiaoman witnessed three years ago. Is Chen Mo’s sudden return a rekindling of old love, or something more sinister? Is the late-night knock a killer’s revenge signal, or a lover’s protection code?
