A small-time scrapper A-Zhu makes a living collecting waste. A broken bamboo rod he picked up by chance hooks the illegal ill-gotten gains buried by the Tongji Gang. Planning to secretly exchange it for money, he is targeted by the gang's thugs. Trapped in a corner, A-Zhu discovers the gang's mark hidden on the rod, then teams up with the police to set a trap. Using this unremarkable rod as a key clue, they finally bring down the long-established Tongji Gang, achieving an ordinary person's cool counterattack.
