Full-time mom Zhao Lanjun’s life collapses overnight—her husband disappears after a business failure with a million-yuan debt, and her 12-year-old son shuts himself away due to depression from school bullying. At the edge of despair, she makes a wild choice: sell all their belongings and take her son on a “redemption journey”. But along the way, she uncovers her husband’s “escape secret”—he’s been working odd jobs at a construction site to pay off the debt in secret. When creditors block the guesthouse door, and when her son says “Mom” for the first time in months, this family’s “craziness” finally breaks through the pain to reveal the love and courage hidden beneath their suffering.
