The 40-year-old A-Po Noodle Shop in the old alley is about to be transferred. When granddaughter Xiaowan sorts out the shop, she finds an old noodle plaque her grandma hid for 30 years. The words on the back reveal a family secret: 30 years ago, Lao Zhang, the partner of the noodle shop, disappeared strangely, leaving half a plaque and a loss ledger, making Xiaowan's grandpa die with regret. Now Xiaowan meets Zhang Siyuan, Lao Zhang's grandson who is now the president of a well-known catering group. He comes to the old alley to look for his relatives and brings the other half of the plaque. In the aroma of hot noodle soup, there are misunderstandings, guilt and delayed reconciliation between two generations. While sticking to the old flavor, Xiaowan solves the 30-year-old mystery.
