Vibrant planner Xu Suining is forced to collaborate with Lin Shiyan, an architect who rejects rituals, to win the "Year of Goodness" project. She uses her "one little joy per month" plan to break through his defenses—adopting a stray cat together, fixing an old clock with a neighbor grandpa, retrieving his lost childhood marbles—only to uncover his three-year regret: he missed the chance to see hydrangeas with his grandma before she passed, all because of work.
