Lin Xiaoxia, an audio editor, found an old tape marked "Cold Voice" when sorting out old cassettes. The deep male voice on it highly matched the vague audio track of her uncle who had disappeared three years ago. The fragments of "Cold Voice" echoing every night involve a covered-up old case: her uncle's disappearance was not an accident, and that voice is the only key to solving the mystery. As she follows the clues, she discovers that secrets related to "Cold Voice" are hidden around her, and the truth slowly unfolds in late-night recordings.
