Undercover cop Chen Mo (Cao Tiankai) goes to Hong Kong to track down a triad’s “crime black box,” posing as a down-and-out businessman. He accidentally crosses paths with Lin Xiaoman (Fang Sichang), a righteous journalist investigating her family’s death—they’re both after the same case. From mutual suspicion as “prey and hunter,” they’re forced to team up to escape the triad’s pursuit.
