Five years ago, Lin Xiaoman fell in love with Lu Jingshen, an investment banking elite, at first sight. Since then, she’s been a “love-chasing sunbeam”—blocking drinks for him, staying overtime with him, even giving up her study abroad offer. But Lu always saw her as a “sticky note girl”—convenient but invisible. Until one day, Xiaoman vanished, leaving only a note: “I’ve saved enough disappointment to stop being your shadow.” Only then did Lu realize all the little warmth he took for granted—warm coffee, ironed suits, hot porridge—were all Xiaoman’s love. When he frantically searches for her, he finds her with a gentle doctor, and the way Xiaoman looks at the doctor is exactly how she used to look at him… Can he win back the girl who once loved him with all her heart?
