Social animal Su Xiaotang died from overworking late, only to wake up as a small crucian carp in the community pond! She’s targeted daily by retired angler Uncle Zhou, but she fights back: spitting out the hook, dragging it into water weeds, even stealing his tea and knocking over fish food! Uncle Zhou goes from “determined to catch this fish” to “daily fish battle”, and his lonely old age gains warmth because of this “naughty fish”. What Su Xiaotang doesn’t know is that Uncle Zhou’s fishing rod holds memories of his late granddaughter—her “mischief” is quietly healing two lonely souls. When a “fish spirit” meets a “stubborn old man”, who will fall first in this cross-species rivalry?
