Yu Xian, an emergency doctor, and Amanda, a photographer, have been in love for five years. On the eve of their engagement, Yu Xian suddenly receives a mission to support the epidemic area. Fearing to drag Amanda down, he leaves a break-up letter and disappears. Amanda, thinking she was abandoned, leaves the country in despair.
